After trying Carolina Rigged Floating Worm, Lipless Crankbait, and two different Jerk baits, I finally beat the Skunk with two Pickerel by combining a 3" Yellow Twister Tail with a 1/4 oz Jighead I tied Chartreuse BuckTail to. Got them both by swimming the room over the weed tops using short rod tip pulses. This combo of Yellow Twister Tail on a Chartreuse Jig Head with Chartreuse Buck Tail ,has caught Trout and Bass before and worked again on two Pickeel.
