I was fishing on Blackwater River in a grass bed with minor brush, and 50 degree weather. I threw the Mister Twister Tri-Alive Meeny lure into the shallow water along the wall, and retrieved the bait by reeling it straight with no snatch or jerk. I felt a small bump and slowed down my reeling just a little to allow the bass to fully catch the lure. He grabbed it and I brought him in. He put up a good fight as well.
