It was a very slow day on the water. Three days before a front passed and it was cold, but over all a decent day. I had been throwing the fly rod all day with no luck and my group was ready to go home. I pulled out my spin rod and with the infamous "Last Cast" of the day I tied on an Exude. Three casts to an over-hanging Mangrove tree in a cut back, I got slammed! The only fish of the day was my slot size 9 lb redfish caught on the trusty Exude RT Slug.
