It was a pretty cold and very windy December morning, but I thought I would toss my Sassy Shad for a few minutes before work. I usually bring in half a dozen or so Asp on this lure when I go out, but on this morning, after a few casts, I hooked up with this nice carp. It worked me over for about 15 minutes before I was able to land it and take it back to the office for photos. I released it with no damage done. Great way to start the day!
