I had been fishing for Lake Trout for 3 days. Caught several but none I could brag about. I went back out without my guide to a Lake Trout Hole about 1/2 mile from Green Island Lodge.
While jigging a white Exude Twister tail for lake trout. I hooked this 38" Pike. I fish strictly catch and release on the Manitou so the fish went back. Approximate weight was 10 pounds.
The pike was one of the biggest of the season at Green Island. We also caught several good lake trout on the Exude lures of around 4 to 7 pounds.
