High winds from the NW where the story of the day making fishing tough. Late in the afternoon the wind changed to variable out of the NE. We were then able to fish plastics as we hoped to and guide Chris Beeksma (Get Bit Guide Service 715-372-8622) suggested we started throwing Exude RT slugs. Chris said to try Bubblegum to wake the fish up and it sure did. The rest of the afternoon we had great success with the RT slugs and caught more fish than we had caught all day.
